My roots have always been to make. Over time, that has taken many forms both digital and physical. Along the way, I've discovered my passion for people and using what I make to help.
Outside of school I do and have done marketing, event planning and coordination, including photography and filming.
Where I am now.
I'm currently a UX Master's student at the University of Toronto, hoping to graduate either late 2026 or early 2027. I do digital marketing for RISE Conferences (Canadian Coptic Centre) and for my faculty's Accessibility Interest Working Group (AIWG).
I am looking for internships of all kinds: product and service design, marketing, communications, event planning and more. I have many passions and skills and I don't want to limit myself as just being one thing.
Above all, my greatest passion is for helping people and actively listening to their needs and wants, making them feel understood. I love taking a curious approach to issues, asking many questions exploring possibilities (after research is done of course). The design, campaign, event or outcome in general can only be as good as the time care taken to listen to clients and dive deep into what matters first.
“Listen with curiosity. Speak with honesty. Act with integrity. The greatest problem with communication is we don’t listen to understand. We listen to reply. When we listen with curiosity, we don’t listen with the intent to reply. We listen for what’s behind the words.”
