Events & Experience Coordination

Building the moments people show up for.

From 500-person conferences to small-town street festivals, I plan the logistics, wrangle the vendors, and make sure the day actually comes together.

About

Mary-Grace Nassralla

Special Events Coordinator. Milton & Toronto-area based.

I've spent the last several years on the ground running events, first as Events and Social Media Coordinator for the RISE Conference at the Canadian Coptic Centre, and now as Special Events Coordinator for the Downtown Milton BIA.

I handle the parts most people don't see: registration systems, vendor and sponsor outreach, budget tracking, day-of setup, and the dozens of small decisions that keep an event on schedule.

01 / RISE Conference

Six years of logistics, twice a year.

As Events and Social Media Coordinator for RISE, I coordinate a 300 to 500 attendee conference held twice annually. My work covers scheduling and timelines, day-of logistics, volunteer and team coordination, event setup and decor, and organizing registration materials, alongside the social campaigns that build the audience before doors open.

02 / Downtown Milton BIA — Community Activations

Three events, one summer, all at once.

As Special Events Coordinator for the Downtown Milton BIA, I'm running three concurrent community projects this summer: a car show, a historical walking tour, and a public art installation. Each has its own logistics, its own partners, and its own deadline.

Car Show
See You in September

Coordinating a car show from the ground up: securing the parking lot venue, sourcing branded merchandise, and managing registrant sign-ups. I handle payments and receipts by cash and cheque, reach out to local businesses for prize donations, and track the prize budget. I also designed the event sticker by hand in Procreate and Canva.

Walking Tour
The Flashback Experience

A self-guided historical walking tour through downtown Milton. I designed two original characters and the tour's logo, then built out the guide and location directory on the Downtown Milton website. Signs featuring the characters now stand outside buildings around town, each with a QR code and NFC tap linking to that building's history.

Public Art
Little Free Art Gallery

Sourcing partners for a public art installation: reaching out to Artsmilton about painting the gallery, locating potential cabinets to convert, and connecting with Barndoor to sand and build the wooden signage.

Currently coordinating events for the Downtown Milton BIA through August 2026. Open to events and coordination work beyond that.
